Overview
SORL builds professional and institutional partnerships with relevant organizations within its specialty through collaboration agreements that support scientific, educational, training, and community activities, and strengthen the exchange of expertise with partner organizations.
Active Collaboration Agreements
1. Collaboration Agreement with the Oman Otorhinolaryngology Society
Aims to strengthen scientific and research collaboration between the two societies and develop the partnership at regional and international levels. Scope: joint scientific activities (congresses, symposia, workshops), collaborative research and academic exchange, continuous medical education (CME) support, training opportunities, and strengthened regional/international representation for both societies.

2. Collaboration Agreement with the Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research (Bahrain)
Signed 1 January 2025; valid for three years (2025–2028), automatically renewable by mutual written agreement. Scope: joint research projects, academic and scientific expertise exchange, training programs/workshops/symposia, and participation in conferences and scientific events.

3. Collaboration Agreement with the Saudi Society for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SSSPA)
Signed 1 January 2025; valid for four years (1 January 2025 – 31 December 2028). Scope: coordination of joint events (journal clubs, workshops, conferences), reciprocal membership benefits, a 50% membership-fee discount for members joining the partner society, cross-committee participation, and a complimentary exhibition booth for each society at the other's conferences.

4. Collaboration Agreement with the Research Chair of Voice, Swallowing and Communication Disorders
Signed 7 November 2021; valid for five years (2021–2026). Scope: joint research projects, scientific and research expertise exchange, conferences and workshops, support for education and professional development, and publication of research in peer-reviewed journals.

5. Collaboration with the Emirates ORL Head & Neck Society
An ongoing professional and scientific partnership since 2016, within the framework of the Pan Arab Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (PAN ARABFOS). Scope: joint scientific events and conferences, expert coordination and knowledge exchange, support for young physicians' professional development, collaborative research of shared interest, and strengthening the Gulf/regional medical community presence.

Membership in the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS)
SORL is an active, officially listed member society of the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS).
Partnership with the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS)
The Society's annual scientific conference is held in partnership with the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS).
